Out & About at Red Lounge II

This week I visited the Red Lounge II in East Liberty, Matrix Night Club in Station Square, Questions Night Club in the Strip District, the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Squirrel Hill and the Ava Lounge in East Liberty.

My first stop was at the Red Lounge II where Kiki, formerly “The Midday Chick” of WAMO 106.7FM, celebrated with family and friends the fact that she landed a new gig as an on-air personality at WERQ 92Q FM in Baltimore, Md. She will be leaving us, but her heart and soul will always belong to Pittsburgh. Congratulations on a fresh start—you deserve it.

My next stop was at Matrix Night Club where DJ Supaman celebrated his birthday again with a packed house. It looked like the whole city came out to help him celebrate his 26th birthday in grand style.

My next stop was Questions Night Club in the Strip District where R.A.W. Entertainment celebrated the launch of G-Code, headed by Yulanda and Octavia. This event was classy and sophisticated with all the trimmings. If you missed it, you really missed out.. Fellas, the ladies really came and represented in a big way for this one.

My next stop was at Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Squirrel Hill where Charismatic Marketing, Inc. presented Pittsburgh with “The Party at the Mansion.” This event catered to the more upscale community of African-Americans who live in the ’Burgh. With DJ Nate Da Phat Barber on the 1’s and 2’s, the dance floor was packed all night long.

My final destination was Ava Lounge in East Liberty where they held “Flirt Fridays” with people from every neighborhood in Pittsburgh coming out to dance to the sounds of DJ Vex on the 1’s and 2’s.

You know Brotha Ash has a REAL CONNECTION to the community. Send all your party and information to info@BrothaAshProductions.com and I’ll see you next week OUT AND ABOUT.
