Fall revival

OCT. 10—Bethel AME Church, 2720 Webster Ave., Hill District, will host the Church Lady Hat Show from 12-3 p.m. Women in the Ministry and First Ladies of the church from around the area and Ohio will model some of their favorite hats. Stage play

OCT. 10—No DeLay Productions and Higher Call World Outreach Church, 1321 Mifflin St., Homestead, will host “I’m Lost With You” Stage Play at 7 p.m. This is a dramatic musical stage play about love and forgiveness. The Smiths and the Wilsons are two families brought together by love, but deep- rooted issues affect everyone. The show will also run Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. Admission is free. Family/friends day

OCT. 11—The Episcopal Church of the Holy Cross, 7507 Kelly St., Homewood, will host their 77th Annual Family and Friends Day at 10:30 a.m. There will be a Holy Eucharist and Chris Moore will be the guest speaker. Special music will be presented by the Holy Cross Choir and instrumentalists. There will be a special reception following the service in the church’s Undercroft. Honoring service

OCT. 11—Evangelist Missionaries at the Church in the Round COGIC, 845 Woodrow and Griffith St., Aliquippa, will host a Special Annual Awards Honoring Service at 7 p.m. The theme is “What Does the Lord Require of Me?” Missionaries who have been consistent and faithful in their service of God will be honored. Men’s gathering

Gospel extravaganza

OCT. 15—The Westmoreland Cultural Trust and Freedom Baptist Church will host a Gospel Extravaganza Benefit at the Palace Theatre, 21 W. Otterman St., Greensburg. This is a spirit-filled evening of traditional gospel music features an all-star ministry of gifted local and regional talent. Choirs, ensembles, soloists and mimes will perform, including the Trebletones of Pittsburgh and Barbara Felton, one of the region’s finest gospel soloists. Patricia Jenings of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will host the event. Tickets are $25 for adults and will benefit Freedom Baptist Church. Open house

OCT. 16—The Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary will host an Open House from 8:20 a.m.-5 p.m. at 7418 Penn Ave., Homewood. This is an open house for those who are considering a call to the ministry and graduate theological studies. There will be a campus tour, a sit in on classes, a visit with professors and students, a financial aid review and a discussion of curriculum and requirements.
