The Carnegie Mellon University School of Fine Arts and the School of Music presents their annual Holiday Concert at 12 p.m. at the Rangos Auditorium at the University Center, 5032 Forbes Ave., Oakland. Professor of Music Robert Page will conduct the concert while the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic, Concert Choir and Repertory Chorus perform holiday favorites and classic treasures. Nativity

The University of Pittsburgh’s Department of Africana Studies presents “Nativity: A Christmas Gift” at 8 p.m. at Alumni Hall, 7th floor Auditorium, 4227 Fifth Ave., Oakland. The performance will feature the Shona Sharif African Dance and Drum Ensemble and is inspired by Langston Hughes’ “Black Nativity,” the show explores the Christmas season through traditional West African dance and 20th century gospel music.
