DEC. 10—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host their Business Program Series from 12:15-1 p.m. at the Downtown and Business branch, 612 Smithfield St. The topic is “Census 2010: stand Up And Be Counted!” Benita M. Johnson, partnership specialist for the U.S. Census Bureau, Census 2010, will be the presenter and will discuss why it is critical for every resident in one’s area to be counted and how to help one’s community achieve this goal. DEC. 16—The Robert Morris University Sewall Business Center will host “Facebook Marketing for Business Owners” from 6-9 p.m. at the Moon Township Campus, 6001 University Blvd., Moon Township. Rori Rasel, of Social Marketing Maven and Advertisers Associates and Contact One Communications, will discuss how to use the social networking site, Facebook, to spread the word about their business through the site’s tools such as fan pages, gift apps and event calendars.
