Out & About… Merry Christmas (2009) from Brotha Ash and the Courier…

This week I visited Billy’s Gold Door in Homewood, the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in East Liberty, CJ’s in the Strip District, Mr.. Kenny’s in the Hill District and Tim’s Lounge in the Hill District.

First I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I hope that you and your families have a great time together this holiday.

My first stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where the one and only DJ Sly Jock was on the 1’s and 2’s doing his thing.. You have to come to CJ’s every Friday and get your party on.

My next stop was at Billy’s Gold Door in Homewood where everyone with class and style comes together to get their party on. I have to shout out Erik, Webb and the rest of the family and staff at the Gold Door, and to Cookie, you will be missed always.

My next stop was at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in East Liberty where New Horizon Theater held an event featuring songstress J’Aira Pryor and friends. Everyone came out to hear the powerful voice of this young lady. She is doing big things and I know that more success is coming her way.

My next stop was at Mr. Kenny’s in the Hill District where everyone goes to chill out and get away from the riffraff. If you’re looking for a place to go where you don’t have to look over your shoulder, this is it.

My final destination was Tim’s Lounge in the Hill District where everyone knows your name—like Cheers. I have to shout out my Uncle Tim and Aunt Von and all the people who go to Tim’s. It was nice being there helping out, but it’s time for me to move on. I’m sure I’ll see you guys somewhere in the Steel City. Peace and see ya later.

You know Brotha Ash has a REAL CONNECTION to the community. Send all your information to info@BrothaAshProductions.com and I’ll see you next week OUT AND ABOUT. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL FROM BROTHA ASH.
