Last performance

The Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Company presents The Ancestor Series at 8 p.m. at 542 Penn Ave., Cultural District. This is a trilogy of one act plays by Pittsburgh playwright P.J. Gibson. Each play is about a woman who is called to make a difficult decision and needs to call on her African ancestors for answers. The show will run through April 24. Herron Enterprises presents Derrick Brinkley’s play “I Can’t Stop Loving You” at 3 p.m. at the Byham Theater, 101 Sixth St., Cultural District. The play is about a man and his gambling addiction and the effects it has on his family. The play stars Christopher Williams, Clifton Powell, Shirley Murdock, Carl Payne and Chrystale Wilson.
