Anniversary celebration

Three Rivers Youth presents their 130th anniversary celebration from 6-9 p.m. at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, One Schenley Park Dr., Oakland. The theme is “An Evening In Paris—The City of Limits.” There will be a reception, celebrity guests, Hall of Fame honors and more. There will also be a Pittsburgh to Paris Jazz Tribute. Students of The Pittsburgh Public School District present High School Musical productions at various high schools in the district. Pittsburgh Allderdice students will perform “Guys and Dolls” and Pittsburgh Langley students will perform “Cinderella.” Performances run through May 1 and tickets are $5 for students. Carmina Burana Africana

The Bach Choir of Pittsburgh presents Carmina Burana Africana at 8 p.m. at the New Hazlett Theater, Allegheny Square East, North Side. This is an innovative interpretation of Carl Orff’s masterpiece. The show will feature collaborations by the August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble and the West Virginia University African Music and Dance Ensemble.
