This week I visited Heinz Hall in Downtown Pittsburgh, Carnegie Music Hall in Oakland, The Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, Tim’s Lounge in the Hill District and the North Side Elks in the Hill District.
My first stop was at Heinz Hall in Downtown Pittsburgh where the legendary Motown recording stars The Temptations and The Four Tops performed for all their fans. It was nice to hear all the old hits and some of the new. Otis Williams, the creator of the group, has been a member of The Temptations for almost 50 years.

My next stop was at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum where the Pittsburgh Old Timers held their annual cabaret. It was packed and everyone was on the dance floor moving and shaking to all of the hits.
My next stop was at Carnegie Music Hall where the Hill House held their annual event called the Soul Gala featuring DJ Nick Nice on the 1’s and 2’s. All of Pittsburgh’s business professionals came out to enjoy a festive evening of fellowship and dancing the night away.

My final destinations were at Tim’s Lounge where a tribute was held in honor Glenn Campbell and another one was held at the North Side Elks. Both places are located in the Hill District. Glenn was a man who never will be forgotten. He gave his all to everyone he met. He was one of the best-dressed men in the city of Pittsburgh. Everyone came out to pay tribute to the one and only Glenn Campbell. Condolences go out to the entire Campbell family.
