Pastoral installation

JULY 7—Rodman Missionary Baptist Church, 6111 Rodman St., East Liberty, will host the Pastoral Installation of Rev. Darryl T. Canady at 7 p.m. The guest preachers will be Rev. Dr. William H. Curtis, Rev. Dr. Jason Barr, Rev. John Welch, Rev. DeNeice Welch, Rev. Carol Milligan and Rev. Joseph Ross. There will be a banquet July 10 at 6 p.m. at the Marriott City Center Hotel in Uptown and on July 11 there will be a special service at 7:30 a.m. with guest preacher Rev. Men’s breakfast

Mime workshop

JULY 15—K & K Mime will host the 3rd Annual Gospel Mime World-Wide Workshop at 6 p.m. at Reign Church, 7202 Kelly St., Homewood. The workshop will run through July 17 and is designed to encourage, edify and develop mimes, dancers and other artists in the body of Christ. It will feature an evening showcase and concerts by K & K Mime and Vickie Winans. Registration is requested and the cost is $15. Tickets for the concert are $20. Music workshop

JULY 15—The Pittsburgh Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America will host a Music Workshop from 7-9 p.m. at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 271 Paulson Ave., East Liberty. The workshop clinician will be Rev. DeNeice Welch of Bidwell Presbyterian Church. Consecration services

ONGOING—Pittsburgh Spirit & Soul will host a Friday Lunchtime Gospel Hour from 12:15-1 p.m. at 937 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. Every Friday, from now until September, Rev.
