AUG. 5—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host their Business Program Series at 12:15-1 p.m. at the Downtown and Business branch, 612 Smithfield St. The topic is “Good Grief! It’s Grammar! (and Why it Really Matters).” Anne Louise Feeny from the Transition Institute will discuss the lasting impression that one can leave through one’s speech and writing. AUG. 10—Coro Pittsburgh will host its 2nd Annual Leadership Luncheon Series from 12-1 p.m. at the Rivers Club, 301 Grant St., Downtown. The series will offer a unique opportunity to connect with local leaders and hear how leadership affects their specific industry. The guest speaker will be Audrey Russo, president of the Pittsburgh Technology Center. The series will also take place on Aug. 10 featuring a different speaker.
