Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited the Black Beauty Lounge in the Hill District, The Sheraton Hotel in Station Square, Calvary Baptist Church in the Hill District, Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland and the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty.

My first stop was the Black Beauty Lounge in the Hill District where the late Glenn Campbell was honored with a birthday celebration in his honor by family and friends. Everyone came out to honor the one and only Glenn Campbell. He is gone but not forgotten. I have to shout out Ronetta and Linda and everyone who came out to celebrate and have a great time.

My next stop was at the Sheraton Hotel in Station Square where Champion Enterprises presented an event called “Outrageous in Red” where everyone came dressed to impress in red attire and danced the night away.

My next stop was at Calvary Baptist Church where John E. Johnson Jr. and Kimberly Johnson tied the knot. It was a great ceremony and I want to congratulate both of you on spending the rest of your lives together.

My next stop was at the Pittsburgh Improv in Homestead where comedian and actor Bruce Bruce put on a great show along with other comedians who performed. If you missed the show, you really missed a great time.

My final destination was at the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty where the Natural Choice held their annual appreciation day for their customers. DJ Nate Da Phat Barber was on the 1’s and 2’s doing his thing.
