My supervisor is in love with my husband

(NNPA)—Dear Gwendolyn:

After much searching, I finally got a good job. This is the problem: Everywhere I work women seem to be attracted to my husband.

On this present job, he had to come to my office to get some money for gas in his car. All the women flipped. You see…he is the most gorgeous looking man on earth.

I don’t care about co-workers, but I do take notice when my boss seems to have eyes for him.

The reason I feel this way is because I know if I approach my boss, she could terminate my job.

I don’t want that. I have left four jobs in the last five years because of my husband.

When I told my ex-bosses to stay away from my man, I was fired.

Gwendolyn, I don’t want to lose this job—but at the same time, I don’t want to lose my man.—Jennifer

Dear Jennifer:

I believe you have already lost your man.

First of all, let me clear your mind on something. I have never seen your husband, but I am certain he is not the most gorgeous looking man on earth.

Do not say that in his presence and don’t even say that in a whisper.

The reason I can be so certain is I had (he is now deceased) the most gorgeous looking man on earth—I mean gorgeous spelled with a “J.”

He was finer than wine. Jennifer, women are not after your husband. It is all in your mind.

If they flirt with him or take the flirt beyond a flirt, they don’t want him.

Let me tell you this: Back in the day good looks came first, but women of today seek quality.
