Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in East Liberty, St. Benedict The Moor School in the Hill District, The Shadow Lounge in East Liberty and the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood.

My first stop was at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater in East Liberty where Lowacit Entertainment and Mark C. Productions presented the First Annual Stop the Violence Holiday Talent Show featuring local talent from around the city of Pittsburgh.

My next stop was at St. Benedict the Moor School in the Hill District where Ringo, Shelly, Dicky and Mark held their annual celebration in honor of all of them staying clean from drugs and alcohol for a numerous amount of years. Congratulations to all of you.

My next stop was at the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty where Hip-Hop on L.O.C.K. Project held an event featuring DJ Nate Da Phat Barber on the 1’s and 2’s with Emmai Alaquiva as the host.

My final destination was at the Greater Pittsburgh Homewood Coliseum where the Pittsburgh Oldtimers held their annual event. It was a packed house and the whole city of Pittsburgh came out to get their party on and have a great time.
