FEB. 12—SCORE will host the Small Business Workshop from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the PNC YMCA, 2nd floor, 236 Fifth Ave., Downtown. This is an interactive workshop geared toward aspiring and existing small business entrepreneurs. Professionals will discuss topics, such as, small business planning, record keeping, taxes, financing, marketing and more. FEB. 15—YW Enterprising Women Microenterprise Ownership Certificate Program will host their Spring 2011 Business Startup Training with a Business Feasibility Program from 6-9 p.m. at the North Shore Campus of CCAC, 800 Allegheny Ave., North Shore. This class will run every Tuesday until May 3, 2011. This is a 12 week, 36 hour step-by-step program designed for women who want to start a small business and do not know where to begin. There will also be a class every Wednesday from Feb. 16-May 4 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the YWCA Greater Pittsburgh, 305 Wood St., Downtown.
