Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, CJ’s in the Strip District, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District and Epiphany Church in the Hill District.

My first stop was at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood where the Iota Phi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. presented the Omega Mardi Gras Quesino Royale 2011. This event was off the chain as usual. There was Blackjack, Texas hold-em, a Big Money Wheel, 50/50 raffle and much more.

My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where DJ Nick Nice was on the 1’s and 2’s spinnin’ the hits for the crowd. Everyone came out to get their party and drink on for the weekend.

My next stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where Darwin and his wife Angela came in town for a visit and kicked it with family and friends.

My final destination was at Epiphany Church in the Hill District where Message Carriers held their annual awards celebration for volunteers in recovery from drug and alcohol with a party to celebrate afterwards.
