Concert

APRIL 2—Trinity COGIC, 2216 Jenny Lind St., McKeesport, will host the “Oldie but Goodie Gospel Concert: We are taking you way, way back with foot stompin’, hand-clapping, tambourine playing-you name it-music” at 5 p.m. Various singers from Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas will be featured. Pastoral anniversary

APRIL 2—King of Kings Baptist Ministries, 5169 Broad St., Garfield, will host the 23rd Pastoral Anniversary of Overseer L.C. and Elder Ellen Carter at 6 p.m. The guest speaker will be Bishop Kenneth Crumb and on April 3 at 10 a.m. a service with Rev. Pastoral installation

APRIL 3—Good Samaritan Baptist Church, 2500 Webster Ave., Hill District, will host the Pastoral Installation of Rev. Michael Rhue at 10:45 a.m. The service will feature guest preacher Rev. Nathaniel McCoy and Rev. Catherine Brun­dage at 3:30 p.m. There will also be several pre-installation services from March 30-April 1 at 7 p.m. with guest preachers Rev. George Williams, Rev. Jerome Stephenson and Rev. Andrew Jackson.

Concert

APRIL 3—Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 271 Paulson Ave., East Liberty, will host a Four Ladies Praising One Lord concert at 4 p.m. The featured vocalist will be Donna Allen, Valetta O’Kelly, DeNeice Welsh and Debbie Moncrief. A free will offering will be collected.

Lenten service

APRIL 6—Mount Carmel Baptist Church, 90 Port Perry Road, North Versailles, will host Lenten Services at 7:15 p.m. There will be services in celebration of the Lenten season. Leadership conference

APRIL 11—The Christian Community of Pittsburgh and Blackaby Ministries will host a Spiritual Leadership Conference at 8 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 320 Sixth Ave., Downtown. The two-day conference will include topics such as the Leader’s Calling, the Leader’s Influence, the Leader’s Vision, Avoiding Leadership Ruts and Finishing Well. Registration is requested. Day trip

APRIL 16—Antioch Baptist Church, 322 Elizabeth St., Sewickley, will host a Day Bus Trip to the play Joseph from 5:30 a.m.-10 p.m. at the Sight and Sound Theater, 300 Hartman Bridge Rd., Lancaster. This is a trip to see the popular play based on the classic story of Joseph. Reservations are required and the cost is $70 for children, $96 for teens and $122 for adults, which includes dinner, transportation and the show ticket. Peace march

APRIL 22—House of Manna Urban Faith Community will host the 2nd Annual Prayer 4 Peace March from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at Westinghouse High School, 101 N. Murtland St., Homewood. This is a march to save the community and for community reconciliation in Homewood and throughout the city of Pittsburgh.
