Three Rivers Arts Festival

This is the eighth of August Wilson’s 10-play cycle and is about and ex-con and his quest for redemption. The play will run through June 12. Patti LaBelle

The Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh presents “Pride in the Streets” featuring Patti LaBelle at 6 p.m. at an outdoor stage, Liberty Ave., Cultural District. This will be a 45-minute show with LaBelle, an R&B living legend. The theme for the 2011 Pittsburgh Pride is “Don’t Stop Believing.” The celebration will run from June 3-12. Dance benefit

The Kelly-Strayhorn Theater presents the 3rd Annual FULL BLOOM Summer Dance Party from 7 p.m.-1 a.m. at 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty.
