Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited the Carnegie Museum in Oakland, Mosaic Nightclub in the Strip District, CJ’s in the Strip District, Shadow Lounge in East Liberty, Highland Park and Robert E. Williams Park in the Hill District.

My first stop was at Carnegie Museum in Oakland where Healthy Start held an event and everyone came out and May 31, 2011 was named “Healthy Start Day” by the city of Pittsburgh.

My next stop was at Mosaic Nightclub in the Strip District, where the official “Happy Hour” event is held every Friday from 5-9 p.m.

My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where Roger Humphries was doing his thing on the drums.

Pastor Melvin T. Jackson and First Lady Jackson of Calvary Baptist Church at the Healthy Start event held at the Carnegie Museum in Oakland.


My next stop was at Highland Park, where Carol celebrated with family and friends the fact that she received her Master’s degree from college.

My next stop was at the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty, where PAC DIV performed for their fans and this event was presented Jenesis Magazine.

My final destination was at Robert E. Williams Park in the Hill District, where Uncle Porgie and Lil’ Porgie held a cookout for family and friends.
