Jackson Tribute

Style and Steel and Style Event Scoop presents Thriller the 3rd Annual Celebration of Michael Jackson from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at the Shadow Lounge and Blue Room, 5972 Baum Blvd., East Liberty. This is a tribute to the King of Pop and will feature a special performance by Gene Stovall. DJ Selecta will be spinning Jackson’s greatest hits. Every Wednesday through the month of July, family and friends are invited to share in an evening of Pittsburgh’s finest Jazz musicians. Blues Festival

The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank presents the 2011 Pittsburgh Blues Festival at 4 p.m. at Hartwood Acres, Pittsburgh. The 17th annual three-day festival will feature some of the best blues musicians, such as Tommy Castro, Savoy Brown, the Lionel Young Band, the Blues Women of Pittsburgh and more. There will also be a KidZone activity for kids, vendors, raffles and more. Proceeds will benefit the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
