Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, The Howze Family Reunion in the Hill District and the August Wilson Center for African American Culture.

My first stop was at the Howze Family Reunion in the Hill District where Sala Udin and family came together to enjoy each other’s company, eat great food and have a great time.

My next stop was at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood where Curt Low Productions presented the 17th All New Terrace Village “2” Hill District Reunion for all of the folks from the Hill District. Sly Jock was on the 1’s and 2’s doing his thing.

Everyone had a blast at Rosen’s Cabaret in Homewood.

My next stop was the August Wilson Center for African American Culture where the Darkins Group presented the 5th Annual Shyne Awards. The Shyne Awards was hosted by TV actor Hoshea Chanchez of the hit BET series “The Game” and he had the crowd laughing all night long. This event allows young adults in Pittsburgh, its surrounding counties and the Tri-State Area to shine! This was their night to be recognized for their achievements and everyone came out.

My final destination was back at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood where Rosen’s Bar held their annual cabaret and they always give away the best prizes. If you missed this event, you really missed a great one.

You know Brotha Ash has a REAL CONNECTION to the community. Send all of your party and event information to info@BrothaAshProductions.com and I’ll see you next week OUT AND ABOUT!
