Silver Eye Center for Photography presents the “HomeFront Line: Reflections on Ten Years of War Since 9/11” exhibition from 12-6 p.m. at 1015 E. Carson St., South Side. This exhibition explores the far-reaching effects of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, both on and away from the combat zone. The audience will swing as they discover how Mary Lou Williams, “the little piano girl from East Liberty” became the “First Lady of Jazz” and a master of ragtime, stride, boogie-woogie, bebop and beyond.
