Out & About with Brotha Ash

This week I visited Phase III in Homewood, Melange Bistro Bar in Downtown Pittsburgh, Holiday Inn in Oakland, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, Garland’s Birthday Bash in Penn Hills and back again at the Melange Bistro Bar and Lounge.

My first stop was Phase III in Homewood where the Omega Psi Phi Inc. presented the Labor Day Weekend and this event was the Old Gold Happy Hour where everyone came out to get there party and drink on and have a great time.

The Fifth Avenue High School reunion event called “A Night in White Archer” Party Social Meet and Greet was the place to be last weekend.


My next stop was the Melange Bistro Bar in Downtown Pittsburgh where the Fifth Avenue High School 3rd Annual All Alumni Class Reunion was in full effect. This event was called “A Night in White Archer” Party Social Meet and Greet and everyone came dressed to impress in their white attire.

My next stop was the Pittsburgh Holiday Inn in Oakland where the Fifth Avenue High School 3rd Annual All Alumni Class Reunion continued with the “Mardi Gras Masquerade Dinner Dance.”

My next stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where my Uncle Tim celebrated his 85th birthday in grand style with family and friends. The whole family came out and friends from the community where in attendance. I had a great time and may you have many more Uncle Tim.

My next stop was Savoy Restaurant where DJ Truth from Miami was on the 1’s and 2’s spinning all of the latest hits. He is best known for deejaying at Fontaine­bleau Pool Party at Arcadia.

My next stop was Garland’s Birthday bash in Penn Hills where everyone came out to represent in red and get their party on. Thanks for the invitation brotha and I had a great time.

My final destination was back at Melange Bistro Bar in Downtown Pittsburgh where Tasha Hundley celebrated her birthday with everyone from the city of Pittsburgh. The food was great and the music was hot. Thanks for the invitation Tasha and may you have many more to come.
