This week I visited Kelly’s Bar in East Liberty, The Residence Inn in Wilkins Township, West Park on the North Side, The Compass Club in the Hill District, CJ’s in the Strip District, Paradise Gray and Renee Wilson’s Engagement on the North Side and Benihana’s Restaurant in Greentree.
My first stop was at Kelly’s Bar in East Liberty where DJ Stephan rocked the house with great music and everyone had a great time.

My next stop was at the Residence Inn in Wilkins Township where Mrs. Elizabeth D. Cleveland celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends. I have to give a big shout to Monique Powell for inviting me to this wonderful celebration.

My next stop was at West Park on the North Side where the North Side Coalition for Fair Housing held the 4th Annual Women’s Walk for Peace featuring Stellar Award winning gospel group 21:03. This was a great event for a good cause- to stop the violence in our communities.
My next stop was at the Compass Club in the Hill District where Ronetta Thomas, Linda Campbell and others celebrated the 2nd Annual Birthday Celebration of the late Glenn Campbell in grand style with family and friends.
My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District where birthday man Skip celebrated his birthday with family and friends.
My next stop was at the engagement party of Paradise Gray and Renee Wilson on the North Side where everyone came out to celebrate this festive occasion with the two of them. Congratulations to both of you and I’m looking forward to the wedding at the August Wilson Center in December.
My final destination was at Benihana’s Restaurant in Greentree, where the Dave Thomas Celebrity Cook-off was held. This event is a fundraiser that provides necessary funding to ensure that TRAC’s services continues to be free to all children and families affected by foster care and adoption.
