Exhibit Opening

The Carnegie Museum of Art presents “Teenie Harris, Photographer: An American Story” at the museum’s Heinz Galleries, 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland. This is an exhibit about famous photographer Charles “Teenie” Harris and will feature thousands of his classic and historic photos. Romare Bearden Exhibition

The August Wilson Center for African American Culture presents the “Romare Bearden the Last Years: Photographs by Frank Stewart” exhibition from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. Pitt Jazz Seminar

The University of Pittsburgh presents its annual Pitt Jazz Seminar and Concert at the William Penn Union, 3959 Fifth Ave., Oakland. There will be a jazz film, lectures, demonstration and more. Also on Nov. 5 there will be a concert at the Carnegie Music Hall.
