Celebration
NOV. 3—The Martin Luther King, Jr. Reading & Cultural Center will host its 3rd Annual Tributary: Celebrating 41 Years of Literacy and Community Service from 6:30-8:45 p.m. at the Rivers Club, 301 Grant St., Downtown. Bullying Prevention
NOV. 4—The Marcus L. Ruscitto Charitable Foundation, The Pittsburgh Foundation and PA School Counselors will host a Bullying Prevention Conference from 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at California University of Pennsylvania, 250 University Ave., California. This conference is to develop creative anti-bullying and cyberbulling strategies and will feature Dr. Adolph Brown, who will discuss how to bully proof one’s school with real talk and the one love way. Dare to Dream
NOV. 5—Lighthouse Cathedral and the South Pittsburgh Coalition for Peace will host its 2nd Annual “Dare to Dream” Youth Conference at 1 p.m. at 810 Fisher St., Pittsburgh. Cotillion
NOV. 5—A Second Chance Inc., Three Rivers Youth and the Eden Hall Foundation will host “A Dance for Life” Cotillion from 6-10 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, 101 Mall Blvd., Monroeville. Dance for Life is a program to help female youth acquire valuable life skills. The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be WPXI-TV Reporter Vince Sims. Community Meeting
NOV. 6—The Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations will host a Community Meeting at 6 p.m. at the Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, North Side.
