The Pittsburgh Improv presents D.L. Hughley at 8 p.m. at 166 E. Bridge St., Homestead. This special event will feature Hughley, one of the Original Kings of Comedy. He has appeared in several movies; television shows, especially his own, “The Hughleys;” and several stand up comedy shows. Hughley will perform through April 7 and this is a 21 and over event. Jazz Jam

CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents “The Roger Humphries & RH Factor Jazz Jam Session” at 8 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. There will be live jazz and fun every Thursday night. Josh Gibson Exhibit

The August Wilson Center for African American Culture presents Josh Gibson: Negro League Legend at 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. This is an educational exhibit that features a 100-year timeline and photographs of Negro League baseball player Josh Gibson. It will run through June 30 and is free and open to the public. Fun-raiser

The Black Political Empowerment Project presents its 7th Annual “Fun-raiser” Jazz Concert from 5:30-11:30 p.m. at Bridges, Holiday Inn University Center, Lytton Street, Oakland. There will be performances from some of the region’s most talented jazz musicians. Performers include Sean Jones, Etta Cox, Kenny Blake and more. Also, several awards will be given out. AVA Lounge presents Live Jazz with The Interval Trio & Friends at 8:30 p.m. at 126 S. Highland Ave., East Liberty. Every Monday DJ J.
