This week I visited Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside, Melange Bistro Bar in downtown Pittsburgh, Buffalo Blues in Shadyside, CJ’s in the Strip District, Art’s in the Strip District, Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, Ava Lounge in East Liberty and Tim’s Bar in the Hill District.

My first stop was at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside, where Mrs. Patricia Stewart was honored with a retirement party presented by the staff of Operation Better Block Inc. She was an administrative assistant there for 27 years and was the cornerstone of the organization. She will be missed, but never forgotten.

My next stop was at Melange Bistro Bar where Howard Bullard presented “Flirt Thursdays” with music by DJ X and WAMO 100.1FM was also in the building.
My next stop was at Buffalo Blues in Shadyside, where students from Carnegie Mellon University were celebrating a late “St. Patrick’s Day” celebration with all of the trimmings. Everyone was dressed in green and partied all night long.
My next stop was at Art’s in the Strip District where everyone was getting their party and drink on and listening to great music.
My next stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District where the city of Pittsburgh came out to celebrate the good life and party the night away.
My next stop was at the Ava Lounge in East Liberty where bartender Shawn was holding it down for reggae night on Thursday.
My next stop was CJ’s in the Strip District where everyone was on the dance floor while DJ Nick Nice was on the 1’s and2’s.
My final destination was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District where Tamil and Mi-me chilled with the owner, Tim Myles who is also their uncle.
