APRIL 20—The Duquesne University Small Business Development Center will host QuickBooks: Advanced from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the University’s Rockwell Hall, 600 Forbes Ave., Uptown. This workshop will help individuals to become more knowledgeable with QuickBooks, the number one management and accounting tool utilized by start-ups and small business entrepreneurs. Free Career Training
APRIL 21—The Community College of Allegheny County, the Hill House Association and the Hill Community Development Corporation will host a free Career Training Information Session from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Elsie H. This is an informational session about a new federally funded program designed to provide free career training in the trades, health care and energy sectors.
