This week I visited Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, CJ’s in the Strip District, Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, Shadow Lounge in East Liberty and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland.

My first stop was at Savoy Restaurant in the Strip District, where they celebrated their one year anniversary in grand style, featuring singer and actress Christina Milian, comedian Gary Owens and much more. Congratulations to Chuck Sanders, John Bettis and the entire staff of Savoy on their first year in business.

My next stop was at CJ’s in the Strip District, where everyone came out to get their groove on with DJ Nick Nice on the 1’s and 2’s.
My next stop was at Tim’s Bar in the Hill District, where the party was jumping with Ms. Dee behind the bar serving up the drinks.
My next stop was at the Greater Pittsburgh Coliseum in Homewood, where Groove Productions presented the Mother’s Day Weekend BYOB Blue Jean Cabaret featuring Silk and Ginuwine. This was a sold out event and both artist did their thing for the fans.
My next stop was at the Shadow Lounge in East Liberty, where “The Old School Hip-Hop Event” was held featuring Tuffy Tuff and many other artists.
My final destination was at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall, where Savoy Restaurant presented “An Evening with Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans” for the perfect Mother’s Day gift.
