JUNE 14—The Center for Green Industries and Sustainable Business Growth of the Small Business Development Center of Duquesne University will host “Boosting Profits through Green Certifications: Understanding the Advantages and Process” from 1:30-4:30 p.m. at the university’s Rockwell Hall, 600 Forbes Ave., Uptown. The seminar will explore the benefits of acquiring certifications for building operations that are “environmentally friendly.” There will also be a discussion on the reasons why businesses opt for certain certifications and an explanation on the process for obtaining certifications.
