Haiti Fundraiser

AUG. 18—Bynums Marketing & Communications Inc. will host “A Gift of Hope: From the Hills of Pittsburgh to the Mountains of Haiti” at 11:30 a.m. at the home of Donald Kortland and Anna P. Block Party

Braddock Community Day

AUG. 18—Partnership for a Caring Community, Hope for the Burg and the Borough of Braddock will host the Braddock Community Day from 12-4 p.m. at the Corner of Braddock Avenue and Library Street. There will be games, prizes, vendors, health tips, food and more. This is a rain or shine event.

Voter ID Forum

AUG. 23—Pittsburgh Jewish Social Justice Roundtable will host a Voter ID Forum for Senior Citizens at 1:15 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, Katz Auditorium, 5738 Forbes Ave., Squirrel Hill. The program will discuss the implications of Pennsylvania’s new Voter ID law and educate seniors so they will be able to vote on Nov. 6. Speakers will include Rep.
