SEPT. 20—The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host their Business Program Series at 12:15 p.m. at the Downtown & Business branch, 612 Smithfield St., Downtown. The topic is “Recognizing Who Is At Risk for Financial Exploitation and Knowing Where to Find Help if it Happens.” Anna Hayes, Esq., of Julian Gray Associates, will provide important information that will help individuals safeguard their assets to provide for both longevity and rising healthcare costs. Business Workshop

SEPT. 21—Chatham University’s Center for Women’s Entrepreneurship will host the Kauffman Fast Trac Listening to Your Business Workshop from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at the University Gatehouse, Woodland Rd., Shadyside. This is a hands-on facilitated workshop designed to provide women business owners and managers with the critical evaluation tools and action steps they need to maximize the growth and profitability of their business. Wholey’s Anniversary

Celebration

SEPT. 21—Robert Wholey & Co. Inc. will host a 100th Anniversary Celebration from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Wholey’s, 1711 Penn Ave., Strip District. This three-day Customer Appreciation Festival, which will run through Sept. 23, will include entertainment, contests, free samples, cooking demonstrations and more. Letter Assistance

SEPT. 21—The Squirrel Hill Branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh will host a Resume and Cover Letter Assistance event from 2-4 p.m. at 5801 Forbes Ave., Squirrel Hill. Every Friday in July and August Shirley Tucker, PhD, an employment counselor, will assist with putting together the resume and cover letters that employers want to see. Youth Networking Mixer

SEPT. 21—Urban Innovation 21 and Your Classic Event will host a “Youthpreneur” Business Networking Mixer from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Hosanna House, 807 Wallace Ave., Wilkinsburg. This business mixer will focus on the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. Business space is available to showcase and display one’s product of service. Workshop

SEPT. 22—SCORE will host a Small Business Workshop from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at the PNC-YMCA, 236 Fifth Ave., Downtown. This highly interactive workshop is geared toward aspiring and existing small business entrepreneurs. Various professionals will cover topics on small business planning, record keeping and taxes, financing, marketing, and legal aspects.
