(YourBlackWorld.net)–Maybe Mister Cee isn’t public with his private life for a reason. Some embarrassing news hit New York this weekend, as one of the most prominent deejays in the city was arrested for seeking the company of a male hooker. The incident took place in Brooklyn, and the 46-year is now facing some serious legal problems.

Mister Cee’s real name is Calvin LeBrun, and he is accused of approaching a “man of the evening” at the corner of Madison St. and Broadway in Bushwick right before midnight. The problem for Mister Cee is that the apple of his eye was an under cover police officer.

Mister Cee got his start as the deejay for Big Daddy Kane, a hip-hop legend from the 80s and 90s. He also produced the first album for the Notorious B.I.G., “Ready to Die.” This is not the first time that Mister Cee has been caught spending “quality time” with men. In 2011, he pleaded guilty to loitering for the purpose of engaging in prostitution when he was receiving oral s-x from a man in his car.

His 2011 arrest sparked polarizing conversations about homophobia in Hip-Hop.

We don’t know if Mister Cee admits publicly that he’s gay or bi-s-xual, but if he doesn’t, it could be part of a disturbing trend. Doctors and health professionals say that a spike in the HIV epidemic in Brooklyn is being traced back to Black men on the downlow. Women in Brooklyn are being infected with disease at extraordinary rates because there are so many men sleeping secretly with men. The CDC and other agencies are now consider a proposal for making it standard for everyone to get an HIV test during public screenings.

Once again, we do not know Mister Cee’s status, but we hope that he is being both honest and safe with his activities. This could be an opportunity to talk about an important issue.
