YMCA Lighthouse Celebration
    The YMCA Lighthouse Project presents its End of the Year Celebration and Leadership Awards at 6 p.m. at the Kelly Strayhorn Theater, 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty. The Lighthouse Project is a year round teen program that empowers youth through multimedia arts. There will be presentations in music, step, photography, graphic arts and more. Motown Laser Show
    The Carnegie Science Center presents a musical Laser Show from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. at the Carnegie Science Center, Buhl Planetarium, One Allegheny Ave., North Shore. Every Friday and Saturday night the Science Center will offer a spectacular sight and sound experience with its dazzling light show that features a wide range of musical styles and genres. Jazz Jam
    CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents DJ Mighty Man at 9 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. DJ Mighty Man will play the hits to make you move your feet.  There will also be happy hour from 5-7 p.m. Must be 30 years or older and there is a dress code that will be enforced. Full Bloom
    The Kelly Strayhorn Theater presents its 5th Annual Full Bloom Summer Dance Party from 7 p.m.-12 a.m. at 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty. Solo Exhibits
    The August Wilson Center for African American Culture presents Solo Exhibits from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. at 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. This exhibition showcases fiber art, printmaking, paintings and sculptures from the artists, Leslie Ansley, Tina Brewer and Jo-Anne Bates. Each artist has drawn inspiration from journeys recalling African-American heritage, reflecting on Diaspora or Pilgrimages to the African continent. The exhibit runs through June 29. Latin Night
    Savoy presents Latin Night at 9 p.m. at Savoy Restaurant, 2623 Penn Ave., Strip District. Every Wednesday Savoy will feature free Salsa dance lessons by instructor Kimberly Catlin, of the Dance Café, and Latin grooves provided by DJ Carlton Leeper.
