Flashes of Freedom
EQT Pittsburgh presents the 2013 Three Rivers Regatta featuring the “Flashes of Freedom” Fireworks Fantasia at 9:35 p.m. at Point State Park, Downtown. Murphy/Smith Dance Collaborative
The Kelly Strayhorn Theater presents the Murphy/Smith Dance Collective at 8 p.m. at The Alloy Studio, 5530 Penn Ave., East Liberty. The collective, assembled by Pittsburgh-based choreographers Jamie Erin Murphy Smith and Renee Danielle Smith, explores the relationship between sound and human instinct. Summer Concert Series
Allegheny County presents the 2013 Allegheny County Summer Concert Series at 8 p.m. at the South Park Amphitheater, Brownsville Road, South Park. The concert will feature The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. The performance will include classics from Gershwin, Beethoven and Marvin Hamlisch, followed by a celebration of Independence Day. Bob Marley Laser Show
The Carnegie Science Center presents the Laser Show at 10 p.m. at the Center’s Buhl Planetarium, One Allegheny Ave., North Shore.
