Ryan Clark and his wife, Yonka, have made it their mission to help people know what sickle cell disease is. They also work to raise money for research at the University of Pittsburgh Heart, Lung, Blood, and Vascular Medicine Institute (VMI). You can join them and many Steelers players at Cleats for the Cure on Monday, November 18, at Engine House 25 in Lawrenceville.

Game-worn cleats, decorated by local artists to reflect each player’s personality and style, will be auctioned to benefit VMI’s sickle cell research programs. It will be an evening of good food and music and mingling with Steelers.
