Software Engineer

Administrative Assistant
Port Authority is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to, under general direction and exercising independent judgment, provide administrative support to departments within the Finance Division. Collects, compiles, and analyzes moderately complex data and information. Prepares detailed reports and correspondence, often confidential in nature.
Job requirements include:
•High School Diploma or GED.
•Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field from an accredited school. Related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of two (2) years administrative support experience with emphasis on database and spreadsheet applications.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Strong organizational and people skills, multi-tasking capabilities, detail oriented with good math skills, and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows and Microsoft Word and Excel.
•A thorough understanding and routine use of rules of grammar and formatting as set forth in the MLA Handbook and/or the Gregg Reference Manual.

Security Administrator
Port Authority is seeking an experienced Telecommunication & Security Administrator to provide centralized administration, operational support and problem resolution for networked telephony, security access and closed-circuit television systems. Performs maintenance, troubleshooting and programming on telecommunications switching equipment, automated call distribution, voice messaging, call accounting, security access and closed-circuit television systems along with all system-wide wiring infrastructure.
Job requirements include:
•BS Degree in Computer/Telephony Science or directly related field. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education on a year-for-year basis.
•Minimum of two (2) years experience with AVAYA telecommunications systems and associated equipment.
•Minimum of two (2) years experience related to a high-volume automatic call distribution system.
•Experience with data network communications including a strong knowledge of IP based system architecture.
•Experience with cellular and wireless communications.
•Strong background with experience in troubleshooting and problem resolution on networked and stand-alone telephony and data systems.
•Demonstrated ability in the use of Windows software.
•Professional and effective communication skills.
•Valid PA driver’s license.

•Experience with Avaya Centre Vue Supervisor software.
•Experience with Avaya Voice Portal software and hardware.
•Experience with Verint Call Recording Systems.
•Experience with Cisco data switches.
