The fourth annual Pittsburgh Fashion Week comes to a close on Sept. 29.
The week opened with a fashion show at Highmark Stadium with Diva Chef Elise Wims as emcee.
On Tuesday it was the “Rediscover Manstyle show” at the Pittsburgh Winery featuring some of Pittsburgh’s most stylish men: Vince Sims (WPXI), Kevin Watson (Savoy Executive chef) and LaMont Jones Jr. as emcee.
On Wednesday, Macy’s dedicated a show to the Pittsburgh professional with a show at the downtown Macy’s.
Thursday was the annual Pinktini and fashion bash at Tanger Outlets with Kristine Sorensen.
If you missed all of this there is still time to enjoy back to back shows this weekend. There will be a show at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. On Sunday, Sept. 29, the finale event will induct six inductees and an exceptional artist into the Pittsburgh Fashion Week Hall of Fame 2013: Michael Barone, Jean Bryant, Tom Julian, Debbie Norrell, E.B. Pepper, Marianne Skiba and the Exceptional Artist Award: Jacqueline Capatolla. The luncheon will feature performances by Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre students at the Omni William Penn Hotel – Grand Ballroom. Registration is at 11AM and doors open at 11:30AM, a very fitting finale to a historic week.
