Contemporary Dance Festival
The Kelly Strayhorn Theater presents the 5th annual newMoves Contemporary Dance Festival at 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty. The festival, which runs through Oct. 5, will feature 41 dancers, 18 choreographers, all over three-days. The nightly performances will provide a mix of cutting edge dance moves and more that will energize the artists and its audiences. There will be shows at The Alloy Studios. Jazz Jam
CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents “The Roger Humphries & RH Factor Jazz Jam Session” at 8 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. There will be live jazz and fun every Thursday night.
