Jazz Jam
    CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents “The Roger Humphries & RH Factor Jazz Jam Session” at 8 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. There will be live jazz and fun every Thursday night. DRAGONS
    Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey present DRAGONS the 142nd production of The Greatest Show On Earth at 7 p.m. at the Consol Energy Center, 1001 Fifth Ave., Uptown. The 90-city tour is a once in a millennium event that honors the Year of the Dragon. Ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson will preside over this event that brings together mystic dragon lore and authentic circus feats. The show will run through Nov. 10. Paul Winter Sextet
    MCG Jazz presents the Paul Winter Sextet 50th Anniversary Celebration at 8 p.m. at the Manchester Craftsman’s Guild, 1815 Metropolitan St., Manchester. This is an anniversary celebration of the group’s invitation by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy to perform at the White House. It was the first jazz concert at the presidential dwelling. All That’s Jazz
    Penn State Greater Allegheny presents its 10th Year Scholarship Benefit at 7 p.m. at the Penn State Student Community Center, 4000 University Dr., McKeesport. Steals Brothers Classic Awards Gala
    Urban Impact and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank presents Pittsburgh’s the First Annual Steals Brothers Classic Awards Gala at the August Wilson Center, 980 Liberty Ave., Cultural District. There will be a tribute and concert celebrating the 40th Anniversary of “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love” written by Melvin and Mervin Steals from Aliquippa, Pa. Sweet Honey in the Rock

The legendary a cappella ensemble captures elements of blues, spirituals, traditional gospel hymns, reggae, hip-hop and more.
