Billy Strayhorn Birthday Bash
The Kelly Strayhorn Theater presents “Suite Life: A Billy Strayhorn Birthday Bash” at 8 p.m. at 5941 Penn Ave., East Liberty. The evening will celebrate the life and accomplishments of internationally acclaimed pianist, composer and Pittsburgh native Billy Strayhorn. The featured entertainment will be a concert by the Pittsburgh Jazz Orchestra with vocalist Carolyn Perteete, led by jazz legend Sean Jones.
