Christmas Part Dinner
DEC. 14—The United Rays Corvette Club of Pittsburgh will host its annual Christmas Party Dinner at 7 p.m. at 3 Lakes Golf Course, 6700 Saltsburg Rd., Penn Hills. There will be a dinner followed by a holiday party extravaganza with DJ Rich. Guests are asked to bring an unwrapped toy to support the club’s efforts, which will be given to needy children. Skate With Santa
DEC. 15—Citiparks will host “Skate With Santa” from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Schenley Park Skating Rink, Overlook Dr., Oakland. This is an opportunity for kids to visit with Santa on the ice. Santa’s Route
DEC. 19—The City of Aliquippa Board Members, Volunteers and Aliquippa Area churches will host Santa’s Route from 5:15-8:30 p.m. at Main Avenue, Aliquippa. This is an opportunity to see Santa through the streets of Aliquippa. For more information, call 724-375-5188 or visit www.aliquippapa.gov.

Season2Give Program
DEC. 21—The Children’s Sickle Cell Foundation will host its annual Season2Give Program from 7 a.m-5 p.m. at the Children’s Institute, 1405 Shady Ave., Pittsburgh. The program supports families with children with Sickle Cell by giving the child and their siblings gifts. Volunteers are needed. For more information, call 412-488-2723.

Rites of Passage Program
DEC. 21—Seshemet Community Council will host its Rites of Passage Program from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Homewood Carnegie Library, 7101 Hamilton Ave., Homewood. The program will run through May and is for males and females ages 11-18. It will include sessions on knowledge of culture and history, community service, parental involvement, health, self-esteem, conflict resolution and leadership. Kwanzaa Event
DEC. 28—The Community Empowerment Association will host the 19th Annual Kwanzaa 2013 from 3-9 p.m. at the Arts, Cultural and Training Institute, 7120 Kelly St., Homewood. The evening will include African dancing, children’s activities, Amir Rashad the storyteller, The Ibeji Drum Ensemble, BALAFON West African Drum Ensemble, Community Building Awards and more. Coat Drive
ONGOING—The Make Up Bar, Windy’s Boutique, Room 42 and Dallure Trends will host the Share the Warmth Coat Drive. Coats will be collected through Dec. 20 at Windy’s Boutique in the South Side and Dallure Trends on South Main Street in Pittsburgh.
