Jazz Jam
CJ’s Restaurant & Lounge presents “The Roger Humphries & RH Factor Jazz Jam Session” at 8 p.m. at 2901-2911 Penn Ave., Strip District. There will be live jazz and fun every Thursday night. Nationality Rooms
The University of Pittsburgh presents its annual Nationality Rooms Holiday Exhibit from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland. Through Jan. 17, various classrooms displaying different nationalities will be adorned with its traditional holiday decorations reflecting their ethnic heritages. Individuals will have the opportunity to visit each room and learn about the different backgrounds. Tours are available. Salsa Fridays
The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust presents Salsa Fridays from at 10 p.m. at Cabaret at Theater Square, 655 Penn Ave., Cultural District. Every Friday, guests can enjoy an evening of music, dancing and fun. Free salsa lessons are available, followed by music from rotating DJs until 1:30 a.m. This is a 21 and over event. The Rat Pack Christmas
PNC Broadway Across America-Pittsburgh presents “The Rat Pack Christmas-Live at the Sands” at 8 p.m. at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave., Cultural District. This show celebrates the talent of three of the world’s most famous entertainers-Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin. The Nutcracker
The Pittsburgh Ballet Theater presents “The Nutcracker” at 12 p.m. at the Benedum Center, 237 7th St.. Cultural District. The magic of “The Nutcracker” illuminates the stage with more than 150 performers, hundreds of costumes and choreography that displays the versatility of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater’s dancers like no other production.
