The evening will include African dancing, children’s activities, Amir Rashad the storyteller, The Ibeji Drum Ensemble, BALAFON West African Drum Ensemble, Community Building Awards and more. Jammie Jam 2014
DEC. 31—Macaroni Kid of Pittsburgh LLC., will host its “Jammie Jam 2014-New Year’s At Noon” Celebration at 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Latitude 40 Entertainment Destination, 200 Quinn Dr., Robinson. Highmark First Night
DEC. 31—The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust will host Highmark First Night 2014 from 6 p.m.-12 a.m. at various locations throughout the Cultural District. This is the biggest New Year’s Eve celebration in the city. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the family-friendly event. The evening will feature a performance from soul, R&B and funk sensation Charles Bradley, along with over 150 events, children’s activities and music for all tastes.
