PITTSBURGH (AP) – Trib Total Media has purchased a multi-million dollar stake in the Pittsburgh Power indoor football league team.

In a Monday press release Arena Football describes the transaction as a large stake of the franchise, which is entering its fourth season in Pittsburgh.

The league says the new ownership group consists of Matt Shaner, Trib Total Media, and former NFL star Lynn Swann. Trib Total Media owns the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review and other regional media properties.

The Pittsburgh Power play spring and summer season games at Consol Energy Center.
