Black History Month Exhibit
Citiparks and ToonSeum present the “Beyond the Funny Pages: The works of art and life captured in comics” exhibit from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the City-County Building lobby, 414 Grant St., Downtown. This exhibit, in celebration of Black History Month, will feature artwork, photographs and other memorabilia to highlight the contributions of Orrin C. Evans, the first Black comic publisher; Jackie Ormes, the first Black female cartoonist; and Clarence Matthew Baker, a Black cartoonist from Pittsburgh. The exhibit will be showcased through Feb. 28. Soweto Gospel Choir
Cohen & Grisgby TRUST PRESENTS Series presents the Soweto Gospel Choir at 7:30 p.m. at the Byham Theater, 101 6th St., Cultural District.
