ENGINEER
Sr Test Engineer, Bombardier Transportation (Holdings) USA, Inc. Pittsburgh, PA. Wrk w/system testing of complex Communications Based Train Control Systems. Dvlp & automate tests to prove that the system meets its functional, safety & availability targets based on product & customer reqs. Drive test methodologies & coord testing for 1 or more projects. Coord test sub-projects w/in customer or R&D projects. Dvlp overall test plans for projects, comprising all levels of testing from Engg testing to factory testing & field testing incl  regression testing. Define reqs for simulators needed for testing & interface w/ Simulator engineers. Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings to agree on solutions for NCRs/defects. Dvlp test specs/proÂcedures based on analysis of reqs, architecture & interface descriptions of the signaling system. Dvp regression of test plans/specs based on analysis of product changes. Doc test execution results in test reports & non-conformity reports (defects) if applicable. Support test execution in field, either from Pittsburgh or on site. Perform reqs tracing to test specs/procedures & test cases in order to prove sufficient coverage of system & sub-system reqs. Travel reqd up to 25% of the time. Reqs:  Bach deg in Comp Engg, Elect Engg, or Comp Sci, or a rel discipline & 5 yrs of relevant wrk exp in system testing & test methodologies.  Travel reqd up to 25% of the time.
