Conference sheds light on area economic developments

From the North to the East and all in between, millions of dollars of development projects are occurring throughout the city.
As a result over 300 people attending the Minority, Women and Disadvantaged Governmental Committees Conference were informed about the various ventures.
Developments discussed were the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority /Wet Weather Project, the Addison Terrace Project, the East Liberty Transit Center, the Lincoln/Larimer Project, and the Lower Hill Development.
“Today’s conference titled Securing Contracts Through Partnerships is designed to open doors for businesses,” said Valerie Waters chair of the MWDBE Governmental Committee. “To provide an opportunity to market your business to the participating organizations that offers a large spectrum of experience.”
