Forever Family Run/Walk
APRIL 12—Adoption Connection, PA will host its Forever Family 5K Run and Fun Walk at 9 a.m. at Irvine Park, Beaver, Pa. This event is a celebration of adoption and foster care, and is for everyone from the serious runners to those looking to enjoy their families and spend time together.
Irene’s Dream Luncheon/Boutique

Relay for Life
APRIL 12—Duquesne University will host its annual American Cancer Society Relay for Life from 2 p.m.-2 a.m. at Academic Walk, Forbes Avenue, Uptown. The event will help fight the battle against cancer. During the relay, a Luminaria Ceremony will be held to symbolize the hope and perseverance of a continued fight against cancer, and commemorate survivors and lost loved ones. Open House
APRIL 16—Our Clubhouse, formerly known as Gilda’s Club Western Pennsylvania, will host an Open House from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at 2816 Smallman St., Strip District. Light refreshments will be provided and guests will have the opportunity to meet and talk with board and staff members. Be Inspired
APRIL 30—Bethlehem Haven will host An Evening with Elizabeth Smart: Be Inspired! at 6:30 p.m. at the IBEW Circuit Center, 5 Hot Metal St., South Side. Water Polo
ONGOING—The Thelma Lovette YMCA will host Water Polo at 12 p.m. at 2114 Centre Ave., Hill District.
