An event for anyone and everyone who loves jazz—a six hour jazz marathon benefiting the Black Political Empowerment Project.
The “fun-raiser” is from 5:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Easter Monday, April 21, at Bridges in the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center, 100 Lytton Avenue in Oakland, will feature some of the best jazz artists in the Steel City.
Among the scores of musicians and vocalists scheduled to perform:

Dr. Nelson Harrison, trombonist
Flo Wilson, vocalist
Among the guest celebrity emcees:

Vince Sims, WPXI-TV
Andrew Stockey, WTAE-TV
Tickets are $35 general admission and $30 for seniors (65 years and older.)
The B-PEP Jazz honorary chairman is Charlie Batch, former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and founder of the Best of the Batch Foundation.
Much appreciation is given to the Pittsburgh Jazz Society and BNY Mellon for helping to make this musical marathon possible.
B-PEP was launched by Tim Stevens and others on May 21, 1986, with the goal of increasing awareness, within the African-American community, of the need to VOTE in EACH and EVERY election.
